To prepare the syrup you will need about 5 cm of ginger root, a lemon, liquid honey and a glass of water.
Peel the ginger and cut it into slices.
Wash the lemon well, remove the peel and cut it into cubes.
Put both ingredients (ginger and lemon peel) in a pot, cover with water and cook for about 10 minutes.
Let cool, remove the ginger and lemon peel and add the honey and squeezed lemon juice.
Pour the solution into a glass, close and set aside for 24 hours in a dark, cool place. Consume a teaspoon three times a day when you have a cold. Store in the fridge.
