Yellow eyes
If the sclera, the white part of the eye, turns yellow, it could be a sign of bilirubin in the blood (known as jaundice). This can have several causes: gallstones, liver infection or even an underlying cancer. (source: mirror.co.uk)

Lower eyelid too light
If the lower eyelid, which should be red/pink in colour, is light in colour, it could be a symptom of anaemia. Anaemia, which is more common in women, can be caused by a lack of iron. Symptoms include tiredness, palpitations, shortness of breath and feeling faint. Acute iron deficiency anaemia may cause conditions such as heart failure or a racing heartbeat. (source: mirror.co.uk)

Protruding eyes
Protruding eyes can be a symptom of an overactive thyroid gland. Exophthalmos (bulging eyes) is the pathological protrusion of one or both eyeballs outwards from their orbits. In this situation, the eyes are perceived as dry, granular and there may be double vision. (source: mirror.co.uk)

White or yellow lumps near the eyes
White or yellow lumps near the eyelids or nose, called xanthelasma deposits, could be a sign of high cholesterol. High cholesterol levels can restrict blood flow to the heart and cause conditions such as: narrowing of the arteries (atherosclerosis); heart attack; peripheral arterial disease (PAD); and transient ischaemic attack (TIA). Impaired vision
Impaired vision could be a symptom of stroke (bleeding in the brain or lack of blood going to a part of the brain). Pay particular attention to 'double vision', which can be caused by unsynchronised eye movement. If stroke is suspected, seek medical attention immediately. (source: mirror.co.uk)
