The nine most common diseases in the world

According to the Global Health Observatory , nine major diseases in the world cause the  most victims. 

Among these diseases there are those that affect the heart, infections, cancer but also diseases caused by water contamination and diseases that affect adulthood, such as senile dementia and neurodegenerative diseases. 

Some of these diseases are typical of some areas of the world, where hygiene and health conditions are in worse situations than in other countries, while others affect the whole world, without distinction.
